Hannah Barteck is a musician from Northern Ohio. She studied piano, violin, guitar, and voice in
Perrysburg Ohio before moving to Cincinnati in 2009 to pursue a degree in music. During high school,
Hannah was a member of the Varsity Choir, Women’s Show Choir, Concert Orchestra, and was involved
in musical theater and drama productions. She also sang in a Christian Contemporary Band called
Emmaus which released a self-titled album in 2007 through Kyrie Records in Maumee Ohio.
Hannah continued to be involved in productions in Cincinnati with a leading role in the College
of Mount St. Josephs production of Bye Bye Birdie and the principal dancer in the show Everybody’s
Buddy. Hannah has studied jazz and classical music and has also worked as a musician performing rock
and pop covers. She spend three years working for School of Rock in Mason Ohio where she developed
her repertoire and non-conventional teaching style. Hannah is still working on her degree is music and
believes that anyone who wants to be a musician can be a musician. Music is an excellent creative outlet
and people of all ages can benefit from studying it.
